Retail shopping cures nearly everything

So to vent, we went shopping. To take advantage of beacons sales. We also paid some money off carpet and went and bought a few extra goodies.
My daughter scored a tutu lamp for her new room, my son vintage model car and aeroplane. And for us big kids a 9 piece outdoor dining setting with matching couch, armchairs and coffee table. I feel better, however, credit card does not.
We lay byed our chandelier and Paris pendants for master bedroom and formal lounge and dining, as well as bought out outdoor lights.
Drive past our house to see a guy working on cornice and finishing off gyprocking, looks like paint may come this week? However they have corniced the ensure wrong. I'm sick of picking up errors and pointing it out. I will wait to see how long it takes them to.

Another week of nothing

Well this week nothing again has been done. About a month in total where nothing has been done is really starting to frustrate us. We rushed aroun to finalise paint colours a week ago with them hounding us for it, and no paint in sight.
It is disheartening as we know of houses which started after us are now ahead and single stories which started last month are being painted already.
We started 4 months ago, and still have til dec they say.
Had my rant now, really want to see some action as we are now paying a mortgage on 50% of a house that's not progressing!

4 months later

Well it's been an exciting week, we have seen all gyprocking complete, error in bathroom fixed, cornice up an today staircase Put in. However, we actually hadn't confirmed our stair case. Wanted to email and ask for something different for a joke and to let them know we never okayed this one. But it looks ok so we will let it go. Hopefully paint will start and finish this week and we can see lock up! Here are some pics. Before and after shot, that gyprocked wall has been removed altpgether now. Can't wait to buy my chandelier now!!!

Lining has started

So we have walls now, which has been awesome, showing us how it really does look and helping us visualise how we want to set our rooms out.
There's still some things that hadn't been corrected and now that there's walls I guess it will take more work and time to fix. We should be in before Xmas, and I really hope we are! The first pics should have a door, this piece of wood was taken out, but then put back in and is now a wall??! Why ??!
The third last pic wasn't meant to be a cut out, it was a niche like the entry in their display home, not sure I can get that now but know I don't want this niche a hole.
